The BFG

Roald Dahl's The BFG
is hilarious, sad, and thoughtful all at the same time.
It's witching hour! Sophie awoke with the moon shining in her eyes.
When she went to close the curtains, she didn't hear any cars outside.
Zip. Zilch. Zero. She was a little 'creeped out,' but she finally got
the courage to peep outside. She froze like a block of ice. To her
horror, she saw the BFG (which wasn't as bad as the next thing that
happened to her). The BFG turned around and saw her! The next thing she
knew, she was being carried in her blanket and was off to the Giant
Country!
I like The BFG because Roald Dahl makes up cool and usually silly
words. I think that Dahl is trying to tell readers that you shouldn't
judge people by their looks. And, don't keep your hopes up of meeting a
giant!
