Possible Resources

There are many places you can find information about your topic.  Here are a few places to start:
  • Encyclopedia Article on your subject
  • Book on your subject
  • Almanacs
  • Atlases
  • Yellow Pages (good source of possible people to interview)
  • Newspapers
  • Magazines
  • Travel brochures
  • TV broadcasts
  • Handbooks from organizations
  • Websites (be sure you trust the person sharing information)
Think of your research as a journey.  One resource will probably lead you to others (look in the back of books for their "bibliography" to see the kind of resources the author used).  Don't be afraid to follow a new question when it arrises.  In the best research, you answer your questions but come up with even more.
