| Admissions Prairie Creek Community School is a tuition-free public charter school, committed to educating students with a broad range of intellectual capacities and skills. Prairie Creek Community School does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, sexual orientation, disability, national or ethnic origin in its educational program, admissions or employment, or any other program offered by the school. Admission Procedures Registration is open to children five to eleven years old. Among new applicants, preference will be given to eligible siblings of current students and, as of 2011-12, children of staff. When there are not enough openings for all applicants, those not admitted will be placed on the waiting list for that year. The order of the waiting list is determined by a yearly lottery. As per our admission policy, anyone on the waiting list must reapply in order to be in the lottery for the next year. We are accepting applications for our 2012-2013 school year.
