very useful index of sites organized by topic. Many higher level sites
to use as enrichment.
- Alphabet Superhighway
- Alot
of good links
as well as a cyberzine where kids can post writing. The "traveling
tutor"
has writer's workshop ideas.
- Berit's Best Sites For Children
- This
is a good site which ranks every site on a 5 point scale. Some of the
sites are geared to younger elementary students. The sites are
organized by topic and they only include sites they feel are very good.
- Blue Web'n
- A
great list of
resources, especially useful because it's organized both by subject and
by
the type of information provided at the site. For example, science
sites are
listed as "lesson plans," "resource," "web-based project," or "activity"
- Canadian School Net
- A
carefully compiled collection of sites with some unusual finds. Worth
checking out if you are designing a unit.

- This
is a good selection of links as well as ideas on how to integrate the
internet into your curriculum.
